3-D Flying

This refers to a new style of flying and raises the hobby to a whole new dimension. Unlike real airplanes remote control planes can have a power to weight ratio that will allow them to perform moves that could not be accomplished in full size planes. Not only the power to weight comes into play but the G-forces placed on the pilot of the real size plane. That allows us to push these RC planes to the edge in all types of maneuvers.

These types of planes have very large control surfaces and large throws of those surfaces, and usually have a very light airframe.

Sealing Hinge Gaps

You can use either clear ultra coat or even clear packing tape to seal the hinge gaps in most aerobatic or 3-D planes to help prevent control surface "flutter".

Threading Holes

When screwing into the wood surface of your plane, run the screw in once remove it and put a few drops of thin CA in the hole. This hardens the threads in the hole and helps hold the screw.
