Equipment
When you decide to get started in RC
Flying you will need to get some basic equipment to take to the
field with you plane and radio. At the field you will se a wide
variety of bought and or built flight boxes and other accessories
people bring with them, the basics being:
 | Fuel and a hand pump - used to fuel the
plane. |
| Ni-cad glow starter - to heat up the glow
plug. |
| Chicken Stick - to flip the propeller when
starting the engine. |
| Cleaner and Paper towels - for cleaning up
your plane after flying.

As you progress in the hobby you will want to
advance to a electric starter which requires a battery and field box.
Field boxes can get very elaborate with electric fuel pumps and power
panels tool drawers and field chargers.

| Servo
Extensions When
adding a servo extension you can use a piece of un-waxed
dental floss to tie the cables together to prevent them from
pulling apart during flight. |
| Securing
Equipment A great
way to secure your batteries and receiver inside the
aircraft is to use either Velcro or zip ties. |
